“CHiPs” Star Larry Wilcox to Appear at 9th Annual 10-4 Day Benefit

Los Angeles, CA,  September 28th, 2012 — “CHiPs” star Larry Wilcox is scheduled to appear at the 9th Annual 10-4 Day benefit this October 4th  in Hollywood. The event benefits the California Highway Patrol’s 11-99 Foundation, its Broderick Crawford Benefits Program, and the LAPD Museum and Benefit Fund.

The day will include a special ceremony at Broderick Crawford’s star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, (Crawford played CHP Chief Dan Mathews in the popular series “Highway Patrol” that ran from 1955-59, and his son is deeply involved with the 11-99 Foundation as his way of honoring his legacy.) and a parade featuring law enforcement officers from the CHP, the LAPD, and the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department, those who played them on TV and many vintage police vehicles. Wilcox, who enjoyed reuniting with his fellow CHiPs castmates earlier this month to celebrate the series’ 35th anniversary, says he’s looking forward to the event.

Welcome!

Welcome to Larry D Wilcox .com

Excuse my dust as I have begun to revamp some of my old “wardrobe”.

I  am Larry Wilcox, and have touched most of the keys on life’s “piano”.  I grew up in Rawlins Wyoming, joined the Marines and went to Vietnam, and came back to SoCal and began my acting career with Lassie and Disney Movies.  Most of you probably know me from one of my TV series called “CHiPs” on NBC.  Later I produced a TV Series for HBO called The Ray Bradbury Theater.  Anyway, each was my signature on my life and was simply a JOB.  Nothing more, nothing less!

You can see what I’ve been up to over the last few decades, right here. This is my only personal site,  I have also have a fan site, a Linkedn page and a Facebook page Feel free to visit through the links at the top of this page.  Thanks for visiting and yes, the porch light is on for you!

I will be sharing other pertinent information regarding projects as well as having a place dedicated to sharing my views and opinions with you and the world.

I have had a great time so far putting this site together and hope you enjoy it as well.

Larry
